MEET THE CHILDREN
Mrs. Katie FowlerKatie graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a B.S. in Education. She is currently a K-5 teacher at Ocala Christian Academy in Ocala, Florida. Katie was just 4 years old when our family arrived in Brazil. She accepted the Lord as her Savior not long after and was baptized in the Rio Negro by her father. She actively served the Lord with us in Brazil helping with Bible Clubs, Sunday Schools and Children’s church. She has continued this work ethic in her new church, Central Baptist Church, where she serves the Lord alongside her husband, Justin, on the security team.

USMC Cpl. Wyatt EdwardsWyatt is currently serving our Country as a US Marine. Wyatt was just a toddler when we arrived in the Amazon and grew up helping Mark in the work along the rivers and in the mountains. He continues to seek the Lord's will in his life as he pursues his career in the military. He has served in Japan, Korea, Hawaii, and now in Beaufort, SC. Pray for his safety, we sure do miss him!

Amelia EdwardsAmelia is currently working on her degree in Biblical Studies while also working with us here in Lages. She was just a baby when we arrived in the Amazon, however she was the first of our children to go to the Amazon since Sheri was pregnant with her when we made our survey trip in 1998. Amelia has grown up in Brazil and participated in the music program, taught the children in Children’s Church as well as in the Ladies ministry with Sheri. She has been a great asset to our ministry and has surrendered her life to be a missionary to Brazil.

USMC Cpl. Sam EdwardsSam is currently serving our Country as a US Marine. He was born in the Amazon just a few months after we moved to Brazil. He was invaluable to our church in Lages as he ran the sound system and kept our technology current. He is a very hard worker and he spent 12 hour days before moving to the States helping Mark build our house. Sam and his Marine wife, Destiny live in Washington D.C. and are making plans for the future. Please pray for both of them to follow the Lord in all that they do. We are very proud of both of them!
